Using the miniature blank books and notepaper provided within the packs let your child create their own stories and letters. The Book Fairy will visit while your child is sleeping and maybe even write to them. Once your child has collected ten tokens they will be rewarded with their own book from the Book Fairy.
Instructions are provided for both children and grown ups within the Book Fairy and Book Elf packs.
Included in each pack:
– The Original Book Fairy or Elf story
– 10 Blank books for you to use
– 10 Sheets of notepaper
– A special bookmark
– An envelope for your Grown Up
– A book voucher to redeem online
The Book Fairy and Book Elf get incredibly busy So, you will need to help them out.
For Grown Up’s
The Book Fairy will need a little bit of help from you to be able to write back to your child! By following these simple instructions, the Book Fairy will provide you both with a magical experience to share……
- Read the Book Fairy Book and instructions inside with your child. Try not to show your child the Magical Book Tokens or pale purple Book Fairy note paper included in your Grown Up’s pack. If this can’t be avoided, maybe just explain you are helping the Book Fairy as she gets very busy!
- Help your child to select one of the miniature blank books and a piece of pale blue note paper from the main pack.
- Encourage your child to complete the blank book and note with words and pictures, offering help and support if needed. Remember there is no right or wrong way of completing the book, the aim is to help them use their imagination and make it fun!
- Place both items in the Magical Post Box for the Book Fairy to collect. Suggested locations for the Magical Post Box would be by your child’s bed or under their pillow or with their favourite teddy.
- The Book Fairy will collect both the book and the note your child has created once they are asleep and take them to put in her library.
- The Book Fairy will write a note back to your child on the special paper in your Grown Up’s pack and leave a Magical Book Token in the Magical Post Box for them to find in the morning. The Book Fairy is very little and so her writing is very small!
- If you haven’t already, locate the Book Fairy book voucher and visit originalbookfairy.com and follow the instructions on the website to redeem the voucher or if you prefer you can source your own book.
- Once your child has received 10 tokens from the Book Fairy, place them in the Magical Post Box (see number 4) for the Book Fairy collect.
- The Book Fairy will collect the tokens and leave an actual book in their place.
- Please read and enjoy the book from the Book Fairy with your child.
